Plumber Of The Month October 2012 goes to Lee Cambell

Plumber Of The Month October goes to Lee Cambell. Lee has won the Plumbers Award this month for having a great record and never turning away an emergency plumbing job especially when it comes to those inconvenient times.

Plumber of the Month October 2012

Lee Cambell has been with us since June this year and has made a big impact. In fact there has been a time were I have wanted to give Lee Cambell the Plumber Of The Month before but due to him being new it was only fair I had to prioritise those who have been with us for a long time.

Out of 300 plus engineers, Lee has managed to get the most reviews on his work and we look forward to a bright future with Lee due to his eagerness of taking on the emergency plumbing jobs.

Lee Cambell has not had 1 complaint this month or any month since registering with us.

Lee has an extremely positive attitude to work when he is called out day or night.

We also asked Lee Cambell to send us some further information about his business and just below is what he had to say.

Hi my name is Lee Campbell. I recently set up my own Plumbing & Heating company about 18 months ago.

I worked for a large company for 9 years, where I served a 4 year apprenticeship.

The company that I worked for specialised in refurbishing council house dwellings. I gained all my experience doing this type of work. We did new bathroom installations, kitchen pipe work, boiler installations, full central heatings & gas appliance installations & maintenance. After the credit crunch hit, I was made redundant, so I took a brave step & set up my own business.

I knew that I could do well on my own, as I take great pride in my workmanship. I'm a driven & very hard working person, but most importantly I really enjoy my job.

I gained many qualifications at college while doing my block release there. This consisted of working on site for 12 weeks then doing 3 weeks in St. Helens Technology College.

The qualifications I gained are Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing.

Being Gas Safe Registered for 7 different appliances in total. Water Regulations Approved & Unvented Cylinders BPEC Qualified.

I enjoy getting great reviews from customers on Martin Smith's website. I think that word of mouth recommendations & repeat work from previous customers is the way forward. I can then build up my customer base, providing me with a steady flow of work. I have never done 24 hour Emergency Service before, until I met Martin Smith.

Now I can safely say that it is the aspect of my job that I enjoy the most! So I am very glad & grateful that I have come into contact with him! The other aspect of my job that I really enjoy is providing landlord certificates. I find this very interesting & a very skilled area of my job, were you have extreme levels of responsibility.

Personal life: I am going to be celebrating my sons 1st birthday with my wife Lisa on the 20th October 2012.
